Young man in Afghanistan was still undressed when his unit came under attack. He quickly donned his flak jacket, helmet, weapon, and got in the fight. Way to go! Forget the jokes, this young man is the reason why the US has the BEST military in the world! We need more young people like him.

Our marines have started a new offensive in the heat, over 100 degrees in the Afghan desert. Having trained as a corpsman in 29 Palms, California, I know how the heat can zap you. But we know these Marines are the toughest in the world. They can handle it, but boy do they need to be careful as well. Our prayers and thoughts are with them as they continue to do a great job under tough conditions. We salute you and wish you health and a safe return for all!

Sad life at the end for Michael Jackson. We make no judgements. He was what he was. A musical genius for over 40 years.

And Michael Jackson did entertain and visit our troops.

We salute him for that.

The doctors should lose their licenses for life, as well as pay heavy fines.

Do you really want healthcare for every American to be run by the federal government?
We can’t even give healthcare to our veterans. Before we talk about doing more government programs, we need to fix the ones we already have. Fix the VA health system. We know that the majority of doctors and nurses are working their tails off to provide our veterans the best care. We salute you. But we also know there are whole host pf problems that need to be saved. How about congress fix this first?

Stupid laws against military recruiting
June 19, 2009, 2:49 pm
Filed under: Military News, Support The Troops

The federal court tossed out local laws in California that banned military recruiters from recruiting people under the age of 18. How foul is that? The very people that gave this country its rights, gets banned? How ungrateful can people be. This is absolutely shameful. Any city that even tries such a thing should be ashamed of itself.

The military is a great place for young people to start. And contrary to popular media belief, the VAST majority of our military is stationed right here at home. There are countless slots in the miltary for noncombat personnel. You don’t have to go to war. Very rare for someone in a position that avoids war to actually be sent.

On the other hand, why should young people be discouraged from combat troops? It is a NOBLE cause. Like it or not, your rights were bought by men and women who died to give you those rights.

Shame on you for turning your back on them. How about if cities banned college recruiters to colleges that are liberal? Maybe turn the tables! If you come to my town and recruit people for Cal-Berkely, you get fined! Turn about’s fair play.
